Plasma Rentals

If you're looking to stand out on the exhibit floor, plasma rentals are a great way to capture the eye of a potential customer. ACAV can provide plasma rentals from 32" to 61”. Rent flat screen monitors. Rely on our expert staff to help you choose the best size for your event and budget.

About Renting a Plasma

The size of large screens are measured from diagonal corner to diagonal corner. While the actual flat panel display itself is slender and weighs less than a traditional television, plasma rentals displays require a secure and sturdy base or wall mount. Dual pole (floor) stands and table stands are used to provide stability and security. Consult with our professional staff to see whether a floor or table stand would work best for your needs. While we offer stands as an accessory for the rental of our screens, we do not rent accessories independent of our screens.

Wall Mounting a Plasma Screen

Be aware that wall mounting a plasma rental - flat screen rental requires special attention and should only be handled by trained set up technicians. We do not rent accessories without the rental of a flat screen. When placing an order for a Plasma rentals to be wall mounted to your exhibit booth, you should advise your account manager of they type of structure, the weight capacity of the booth wall and if at all possible drawings or photos of your booth. Once the mount has been secured to the booth by your booth builder, union personnel or your staff, then the plasma display will be mounted and tested.

Screen Ratio

Another consideration for your plasma rental is to understand which aspect ratio is right for you. Most plasma screens have a 16:9 (width to height) wide screen format. But for some applications or displays, a 4:3 ratio (a more traditional computer monitor size) is much more appropriate.

Accessories

Although consumer grade plasma televisions have built-in tuners and speakers, this is not typically the case with commercial grade plasma rentals. If you require sound for your presentation, consider adding a pair of side-mount speakers to your rental. ACAV carries many different types of speakers and audio equipment to make sure your sound is as perfect as your image. You can display images from your computer or laptop rentals, video game consoles (such as X-BOX and PlayStation), and DVD/VCR feeds. The number of input feeds varies by make and model, so be sure to inquire about which best fits your needs.

Plan Ahead

For some exhibitors, the idea of renting equipment for the booth is a last minute thought. Many times the demand at a particular show or in a specific city far exceeds the supply. On occasion the specific plasma rentals you want may not be available. We suggest you contact your ACAV account manager and take advantage of early bird specials by making equipment reservations in advance.
